We have the generic go-getter idol mc type of character, despite this we were able to see her character development in the earlier episodes and I loved how they depicted her story to the audience. Overall the ost is amazing and I could sit here and listen to them the whole day. I believe the songs really captured aspects of the characters who sung them as the episodes they were molded around made you get to know the idols a bit more and I found this really great. Personally the best CGI I have ever seen for the Idol genre, the quality is superb and I really think this should set the standard for the future idol anime.ī.B cover by Suzu.Rena was honestly what got me hooked into this the most, the symbolisms were also a great touch for the overall song and I got goosebumps all the way. I really liked the competition foundation that they laid out in the beginning and I'm excited for what they plan to do going forward. The first few episodes were amazing to open the anime as we get to know our MC, her story, and what inspires her to become an idol. What stood out to me is the fact that our mc was hospitalized in her childhood due to a chronic illness, overcoming such illness would be considered the plot of the anime however as we move on later into the episode at the qualifiers where we can say that "tragedy strikes" I can really see a connection with Shibuya kanon (Love live superstar MC) as they have similar events that occur. It has the classic rags to riches kind of story where the mc starts out as a singer/dancer aspiring to be an idol. Story- 10 (contains minor spoilers for ep 1) It's quite obvious that Rena will eventually mellow out and become clear friends with Suzu however this is still something to look forward to. Well in this one, although Suzu and Rena may have the "rival" aspects, it can just be seen as 2 people who aren't particularly friends but both look up to someone dear to them, namely amasawa akari, and its great how they addressed that connection later on. Character dynamic isn't that uncommon when it comes to these types of anime, there is always a "rival" or a "best friend". I absolutely loved the first few episodes, it's clear how they identified what the "challenges" the mc would have to face as the plot progresses, and opening the anime showing the vulnerable side of the MCs life, well you'd just want to cheer for her more. Having an MC that isn't always happy can present more humanity towards the anime. Looking forward to the remaining eps and how they're gonna wrap up the season.įirstly, I would like to put out that I find it great when idol MCs show/vent out their frustrations because in reality life isn't always great. Not gonna lie I've been predicting this plot twist for a while but the way it was executed still left a great impact on me.
To look forward too, not only do the latest episodes contribute to character development but we also got another songg. The coming episodes of the subgroup performances are really something So after watching the latest episodes I can say my opinion hasn't changed on the anime, in fact it's only gotten better. As of writing this review there are about 6 episodes released so allow me to explain why I believe this anime is a 10. Comparing this to more known shows including the love live franchise, what really caught my eye is how good the production quality for this anime is. Out of all the seasonals I never expected this one to be my favorite. She prepares herself for the challenging obstacles that lie ahead. Suzune is caught off guard by the decision, but promises Seira that they will meet again as top idols. Or so it seems-until Seira Kurusu, the girl Suzune lost to, announces that she plans to drop out of Selection Project, believing Suzune is a more talented singer and therefore deserves the right to compete. She recovers quickly, but the stumble is great enough that she loses the winning spot and is disqualified. Though her singing dazzles the judges and her fellow competitors, Suzune is unfortunately overcome by her nerves and freezes up in the middle of her performance.
SAKASAMA NO PATEMA จบ SERIES
Eventually, her opportunity comes in the form of the seventh Selection Project-a brutal series of competitions best known as the starting point of the legendary idol Akari Amasawa.Īnxious but excited, Suzune enters the preliminary round of Selection Project.
However, despite her illness, she has always dreamed of becoming an idol.
Due to a weak heart, Suzune Miyama has remained bedridden for most of her childhood.
